Evie Bean turns 1!!

So the big day. Where did that year go?? Apart from adventuring of course. Our little bean turned one and so to celebrate we had a family day.

We woke to snow and this is something Evie hasn’t seen up close. So we have a pre breakfast play in the snow.

And did some snow biking!

Then deserving of a hearty birthday breakfast….

Before some card opening….

….. and present opening…..

After all that hard work, we thought some special birthday lunch was also in order, so went to Lingholm in Portinscale so some top nosh.

Making sure of a chat with Peter Rabbit in their gardens.

Then for a post lunch stroll, along the base of Cat Bells.

Things taking quite a while at Evie pace, we helped her along to get down to Derwent Water shores.

Here she was free to go rock climbing and potter around.

Then a couple of days later Evie gets ready for her party, making sure the balloons are out!!

Daddy helps her blow out the candles on her 1st birthday cakes with all her little friends to help eat it.

All in all – exhausting!!!

We are all very excited about this next year and watching our little Bean as she grows .
